Our Mission: To Bring compassion, love, and support to parents whose adult child identifies as transgender.
Our Vision: Providing families with grace, support, and love is a powerful expression of compassion and empathy. It's a way of bringing scripture to life through action.
Our Position: We acknowledge diverse viewpoints while sharing that the purpose of this ministry is not to debate difficult questions within the transgender conversation but, alternatively, to equip families with support, grace, and love. Our stance remains unwavering: every person who identifies as transgender is deserving of honor, love, and respect.
Our Organization: Compassionate Caring Ministries, a 501(c)(3) organization, has been dedicated to serving the Pacific Northwest since 2024. We have an active board that is committed to executing our mission and vision.
Our Beliefs: The Bible is the ultimate source of truth and authority on all matters, from the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Old Testament and New Testament prophets. The sacred scriptures provide clear guidance and should be upheld as the definitive standard for faith and practice. The Bible calls us to honor God and love others generously. It acknowledges that everyone falls short and needs forgiveness of sins. God's only son, Jesus, invites all to repent, accept the free gift of salvation, and remember that our faith should never be used to condemn others.
In biblical times, Jesus modeled reaching out to those rejected by religious leaders, showing compassion without compromising holiness. Christians are urged to follow Jesus' example and reflect God’s love and grace to all people, including those often marginalized. We are saddened that individuals who identify as transgender are frequently mistreated and need care, empathy, and safety. We will advocate for families and faith communities to serve as safe havens, offering belonging, love, and refuge for people of all gender identities.
